Good Bye Xbox and Good Bye Jobs

In 2001 the 1st xbox was Launched with the legendary game Halo and we couldn't get enough system link.
And this game Xbox its Legendary Mark as a great Game system.
in 2005 Xbox 360 came and gave us some amazing games  from the Halo games, most other games that followed was great games but were also available on other platforms. Then came Wii U in 2012 with the controller screen, So Xbox adapted the use of the iPad as our extra screen.
PlayStation 3 used their Ps Vita.
So now they are all the same.

Now Its 2013 and Xbox have announced a release of the New Xbox One to be launched before the end of this year.
Me and my Brother and many of my friends have been Xbox Fans from Day one.
But since we saw the system and how they plan for us to download games online and not go to the shop in the fresh air,  (Great Break from the game)
We have decided that we are not going to buy the new Xbox one or the PS4 because they will cause a huge Back lash that could cause an end to of High Street shops and all the industry that make and bring the game to our store.
No more Game trading to get discount on ya next game, With jobs being so difficult to get and the big shake up on the benefits, peoples pockets are getting really tight.
Xbox one will not boost profits by not letting us trade, Because the people who couldn't afford to buy new games before would still struggle.
The New look of Xbox One looks like the late 1980s style with a dull look that does not show any innovation and therefore lacks any attraction at all.
It looks like it was not designed by a creative person and should have at least had a public Design vote before they launched.
I am a Creative person myself and i can think up some kool game system names like:
X-Portal
X-Press
X-Tream
X-Misses

see what i mean.

How to keep cool

Hello Skegness and to all visitors to my blog from all around he globe.
I have the neatest trick to keeping us cool during a hot heat spell.

Also last night as I cycled home from Winthorpe I noticed a strange mist over a little stream that leads out to the sea. And I taken this picture with my ipad and I consider going there this evening with a better camera for a delicate long exposer.

Jurassic Scotch egg

Giant scotch Egg

I made a Giant Scotch egg using Lincolnshire Ostrich egg and Surrounded with Traditional Lincolnshire Sausage meat and bread crumb.
I had to improvise all the way to create this finished result, But everything worked out as i had seen in my mind.

1. I Boiled the Egg for 40 minutes  and then left to cool for about an hour with cold water.


2. Then i got a glass mixing bowl and lined the walls with plastic film and in went the sausage meat. 


3. Press the meat against the wall, right to the top of bowl.


4. Tap around the middle of the egg lightly and keep turning, eventually the egg will start to crack, so remove all the shell.


5. Place the peeled Egg in the middle of the meat and then pull the film around the egg and work it into a ball.


6. Cover the meat with olive oil then roll in bread crumb slowly and carefully.


7. Preheat Oven at 210 or 190 Fan assisted 


8. Carefully lift into Roasting Bag and place on oven dish then onto middle shelf of oven.


9. Cook for 35-40 mins then carefully tip onto another oven dish to flip over to enable to cook other-side, for 30 more minutes.


10. Remove the Roasting film and leave to stand for an hour then put in fridge until cold.

Now its ready to share and enjoy this Jurassic Scotch Egg

Dam Busters 70th Anniversary Lancaster Bomber Lincoln Cathedral Fly by

Today the Lancaster bomber once again flew over Lincoln Cathedral.
It flew from the base at RAF Scampton after 70 years.
If we were to think back to that day as if we were right there:
19 planes flew out that evening and 53 airmen never came back.
Even when many lives were lost, it became the most famous raid, in the RAF history.
Hundreds of people waited patiently and respectively for the fly by.
Their were many glorious people who came from all over the country just to see this golden moment.

Blue skies in Skegness and a bird of pray

It's been a nice day in Skegness today despite snow in Surrey and other parts of uk.
For the 1st time this year I went out without my woolly hat, and just braced the wonderful fresh air of sweet cinnamon donuts and nice strong sun light.



And the rides were in operation meaning Skegness season of fun is now open.



We have had a few days with clear skies and nice blues and nice sounds.
This evening when I got home I thought I would just test my zoom out on my Nikon whilst the light was poor,
I assumed the bird on the fence was a pigeon, until I took the picture then zoomed in, to reveal what looks like a bird of pray.
