White easter in skegness

Easter at skegness was great!

People still went on the beach even with a blanket of snow laying settled on the sand.

Who know's! maybe some body built a Snow Castle:

So despite the cold white Easter in skegness.

The trains were still chockablock with passengers.

Butlins was a busy place too!

Skegness seems to be the loved way of spending Easter!

People travelling from the midlands and outwards to make the best of the short breaks from work.

Also on Easter day! my sister had her baby.

when she was born her weight was 4lb.

And her name is Lillian

Looks almost like too swirls to me!

I have never seen anything like this before.

The Western side of Britain has taken a big beating.

And as we all know!

We can't predict where these will go or how big they may grow!

Thousands of people are without power and this is before the news of more expected.

A Family in surrey was shocked to find the storm as De-rooted their protected Eucalyptus tree.

I just hope the other swirly thing don't come down the east coast.

After the earth quake just weeks ago! the damage caused may not be noticed until the storm takes effect.

As the quake may have just weakened many structures.

Also if you are visiting skegness at the moment!

Skegness 2008 Holiday

The Famous Brown sea!

The real reason it looks brown is because the sand that is being churned in the water is Dark.

The sand looks browner when it is wet.

Carried in the waters motion.

Now lets look forward to the new year of 2008.

We all return to skegness over and over!

I know things are changing a lot here.

And maybe the old magic is fading!

But its the magic we once had that makes us bring our children and they bring their Children.

Its a process i see happening all the time.

There is one place i have found to always be a pleasure to visit.

You can always find the cute seals and animals at the NatureLand seal sanctuary.

They also have a wonderful Butterfly House for you to explore and enjoy all year!

Also i recommend when you go to the ice cream shop next to the beach!

Ask for a Coffee ice Cream with butterscotch and Chocolate in a crunchy Cone!

When she said its not listed! i said that's what i want.

Try asking for whats not on the list based on what they have!

Be Creative! They don't want to lose a Costumer.

And you get to have fun in the creation.
