I went carboot this Morning and look what i found

Colorful leaf plate Vintage Top View

Colorful leaf plate Base Vintage
This leaf is light, but very hard and smooth almost like a glass layer over a very fine hard papier mache style texture.
Even the amazing blend of colours and styles give this item a very unique perspective over creativity in deed.

Now this Italian tree trunk Vase is strongly estimated to be the 1950s.
And at no point have i ever seen pottery as so nicely made together with a dazzling 50s Creativity just before the birth of the 60 psychedelic age.
Also i find this item so difficult to track another even almost finding anything even nearly like this.
I had Da-ja-vu effect with all these 3 items!
Almost felt destined to fall on my lap so close together.

Where is the best place to have Fish and Chips

Where is the best place to have fish and Chips in Skegness?
To be really honest its not where you would think it should be.
I am afraid to say Morrison Supermarket cafe/Restaurant after 4pm because 2 people can eat Fish and Chips with mushy peas for only £8 at that includes any hot drink.  Even the coffee machine that grinds the bean freshly before each cup.
That is a Deal above deals. The fish not very greasy but crispy and Tasty and the chips are just perfect.
With choice of mushy or normal peas being a on offer,  that a deal beyond a Chip shop.
while ya here take a look at this older post in my old blog archives

What you get when you add these items together?

If you have 2 sugars and 1 spoon of coffee... should it still be a called a Coffee?

So when a sweet tooth person request a coffee next time with 2 or more sugars! don't forget to ask them how many coffees do that want in their sugar!  watch their faces when they are Confused on the spot.

Remember a coffee is no  longer a coffee when its out numbered with sugar.

Fantasy Painting by SC or SJ O'Conner

Shadows of the skies being broken with the sweet sound of Music
Thank you to
Wendy Lyon  Who commented on the translation of this signed picture and said: It Looks to me to say SC or SJ O'Conner

Immediately this picture as 2 plus sides:
Very great imagination from artist and also great improvisation based on his/her choice of surfaces to paint it on.
At least this artist didn't let anything stop him/her  from painting what they wanted to get out into this world.
If anybody is any good at reading this artists name at the bottom left of the picture then i would be greatfult to know.
Click on image for a very large detailed picture so you can see every detail and the signed artist.
The choice of wood seems to be the kind known for use of making Ouija boards.
Maybe there is more to this story than what i may have foretold.

12 Ducklings having a Little swim

Ducklings going for a little swim
Little as in meaning the small water feature.
Mother stands on Guard

There is a Bit of a story building up to this.
Matilda and Monty were frequent visitors to my parents Bungalow showing up not just to be fed but to also graze in the sunlight and loved human attention.
Often they walked inside their home as if they live there too.
And only a few days ago Matilda decided to bring here baby ducklings for a swim in their water feature.

Just imagine if them Ducklings grow up to make ducklings and then they bring their ducklings to visit.
And same cycle is re-lived almost like a pyramid business.

The 1st movie i saw at the cinema was Superman

The 1st Movie i ever saw in the cinema was Superman,
Its one of my most precious memories as a child.
The Magical smell of fresh made popcorn and the strange folding seat that i thought would try eat me!
Anyway after a mess about trying to understand these huge folding seats i sit there and gazed at the screen.
And there was a waltzer organ music playing a tune that made the whole build up to the film such a fantasy in my mind.
And then the curtains parted.
The 3 dimensional writing started popping out making the moment so fantastic and exciting ever more.
Anyway now its its 2011 i have struck the chance to re live that moment once again.
I was lucky to find Super man on super 8mm for projectors.
Superman Super  8mm

I plan to re-create the settings of my room to give the same memories of that great day.
Just got to get the moving curtains made 1st and waltzer organ music.
I will work something out thatr will be so innovative.
Follow my blog and you shall be informed of the outcome.

Before and After

My Mud Man Collection
Now i have somewhere nice to put them.
I first sprayed a prima and then a Yellow Gloss to help remove the doom and gloom of this cabinet.
And used a go thick shinny wood paint for the rest of the cabinet.

Look what goodies i found #3

ww2 very rare silk print framed
I found this lonely silk picture in the charity shop! Frame shows a lot of poor treatment from the owner of its past.
But regardless of that! the Silk Picture has stood the test of time. and gleams brilliantly with its silvery textured glints.
Also i got my 2nd genuine Chinese mud man  after waiting for almost 3 weeks for it to travel from America.
Symbolic wise Mud Man

This Mud man is more special than others because of the writing  at the base:
AINID with wrong way "N"
Then this made me think that i must Reverse the image like this:
Reversed Letters
Maybe early Chinese were not literate with using the letters we use and some how maybe a few too many saki and dim sums they may have seen things differently.
It does look like an attempt to write CHINA.
In my eyes this make this statue more unique as it gives us an idea or story of the people surrounding this great piece of history.
